Axita Doshi, Resident Physiotherapist
Axita Doshi is a dedicated and compassionate Resident Physiotherapist with a strong foundation in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation. She holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy with a specialization in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy.
Axita is passionate about helping individuals recover from injury, manage pain, and return to their daily activities, work, and sport with confidence. She has a particular interest in treating sports-related injuries and supporting active individuals in achieving their functional and performance goals.
Her approach to care is patient-centred and evidence-based, with a focus on active rehabilitation, education, and individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals. Axita values building strong therapeutic relationships and is known for her attentive listening, clear communication, and supportive approach to care.
She incorporates exercise-based rehabilitation and functional training to support long-term recovery and performance.
Axita is a Resident Physiotherapist in Ontario and practices under supervision while working toward full licensure.
Carlo Marcoccia

Meet Carlo Marcoccia, our Registered Massage Therapist at Dia Physio. A graduate of the Sutherland-Chan School & Teaching Clinic in 2011, Carlo is passionate about health and wellness. With a wealth of experience, including the physio and rehab sectors, he collaborates with our physiotherapist to deliver an issue-focused approach to contribute to accelerated recovery. Carlo’s client-centric approach, attention to detail, and expertise in addressing musculoskeletal issues make him adept at alleviating a range of conditions, from frozen shoulder and chronic pelvic pain to pre- and post-natal care, neuro conditions, and sports injuries. Having contributed to events like the Toronto & Scotia-bank Marathons, Carlo emphasizes the importance of proper warm-ups and cool-downs. From cranio-sacral to deep tissue pressure, he offers a well-rounded therapeutic experience. Carlo’s motto is ‘Relaxation to rejuvenation,’ and he encourages you to prioritize massage therapy in your year-round healthcare routine at Dia Physio.

Vruddhi Thakkar holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree, earned from an accredited overseas institution in 2021. She brings valuable international clinical experience, working with diverse populations to support rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance optimization.
As a Resident Physiotherapist practicing in Canada, Vruddhi is committed to delivering evidence-based care through manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modern modalities. Her approach is client-centered, focusing on restoring function, building strength, and promoting long-term wellness.
Passionate about active living, Vruddhi enjoys traveling, exercising, and playing sports, embodying her belief that physical activity is fundamental to both physical and mental health.

I create personalized treatment plans tailored to each person’s needs — easing pain, restoring mobility, and enhancing overall well-being. My approach combines clinical precision with genuine, attentive care, so every client feels supported in reaching their goals.
Outside the clinic, I’m kept busy chasing after my little one — an experience that’s taught me plenty about patience, and kept me plenty active too!
