Physiotherapy Assisstant

The Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) will support the Physiotherapist in providing treatment to patients. While the specific treatment techniques and interventions may vary depending on each patient’s condition, here is a general description of the treatments a PTA may assist with: Therapeutic, Rehabilitative, and Sports Specific Exercises, Manual Therapy Techniques, Heat and Cold Therapies, Electrical Modalities such as IFC, Ultrasound, TENS, and Shockwave.
